• DR. AYO BALOGUN

    Position(The CHAIRMAN of the Academy)

    Dr. Balogun is the former MD of Duke Oil (a subsidiary of NNPC). Dr. Balogun is retired, but have remained a consultant to a number of local & international Energy Companies. Dr. Balogun is passionate about giving back to the community and displayed his passion by co-sponsoring the Academy to U.S.A exhibition games.

  • SONNY ASATA

    Position: The President of the Academy

    Mr. Sonny Asata, is a Real Estate Consultant that is based in Maryland U.S.A. He is the academy's President and the Contact Person in the United States of America. Mr. Sonny Asata is passionate about giving back to his country and has displayed his passion for giving back in many ways including co-sponsoring and hosting members of the academy team whenever they visit the U.S on soccer tournaments. Mr. Sonny Asata has been a mentor and a financial sponsor since the inception of the academy.

  • MARTINS ASATA

    Position: Founder & Chief Operating Coach

    Martins Asata, a former top player in the Nigerian Football League in late 70s and early 80s is now a Sports Administrator. He retired from playing competitive soccer in 1988 and since then, Martins Asata, a member of U.S COACHESNET, has been involved in grooming young soccer players, by training them in the methods, techniques and tactics of modern day world class soccer. Mr. Asata has won many laurels and awards as a coach and sports administrator. He was honoured on the 27th of May, 2000 with the DISTINGUISHED & MERITORIOUS SERVICE AWARD by the Federation International Youths Sports (FIYOS), Abuja in recognition of his contributions towards National Stability, Personal Devotion to the Youths and Grass Roots Sports Development. In the year 2007, Mr. Asata traveled to Malaysia to attend a soccer coaching program organized by WHITECAPPS SOCCERS ACADEMY in Penang. The following year 2008, Mr. Asata proceeded to the UNITED STATES OF AMERICA to attend USSF 'B' License Course organized by U.S Soccer Federation, USSF (the highest soccer body in USA). Mr. Asata is a member and scout of the Nigerian Soccer Federation in U.S.A.

  • JOHNSON JAMES

    Position: Head, Coaching Crew

    Mr. Johnson James, formerly known as Iyabo Abade is an indigene of Delta State. Mr. James is the Head, Coaching Crew of Marasata Soccer Academy. Mr. Johnson James joined the academy to enable him GIVE BACK TO SOCCER WHAT SOCCER HAS GIVEN TO HIM. Mr. James has won numerous laurels and awards during his playing career with Vero Bim FC (1995), Rivers Angels of P/H (1996), Jegede Babes of Lagos (1997), Julie Useni Babes of Abuja (1998), Super Falcons of Nigeria (1997-1999), FCT Queens of Abuja (1999-2004), Nigerian Flying Eagles Invitee (2005), NEPA FC of Abuja (2005-2006), Plateau United of Jos (2007), Crown F.C. of Ogbomoso (2008).

  • BUKOLA BOLANLE ENIKUOMEHIN

    Position: Executive Director of PROGRAMS & LOGISTICS

    Bukola Bolanle Enikuomehin, is the Executive Director of PROGRAMS & LOGISTICS. She is a graduate of Banking & Finance from Bowen University. She has pioneered the affairs of the Academy as regards foreign and local trips since joining the Academy in 2014. She has proven to be a great asset to the Academy.

  • IBRAHIM MAILAFIYA

    Position: Director (Administration) of the academy

    Mr. Mailafiya is an indigene of Nasarawa State, then Plateau State. He has an OND Certificate in Accounting and has vast experience in the Petroleum Industry as a Marketer. Mr. Mailafiya is an ex-player that featured for Lafia Scorpions (2000), Lafia Pioneers (2004-2005), Nasarawa United (2005-2007).

  • AUWULU M. SALEH

    Position: Marasata Soccer Academy as its Executive Director/Director of Football.

    Mr. Saleh is an indigene of Kano State. An accomplished Banker and Marketer. Mr. Saleh is a most engaging sports enthusiast and believe in the use of sports as a platform for social and economic development. His deep passion for promoting youth development through football saw him join Marasata Soccer Academy as its Executive Director/Director of Football. He is also a member of Abuja Coaches Association. He has a Bachelor of Arts in Islamic Studies, Post graduate diploma in Financial Management, and Bachelor of Science degree in Economics. Mr. Saleh will be bringing into the soccer academy his scholarly background coupled with his versatile experience in Public & Private sector.

  • DARLINGTON OGBONNA

    PositionExecutive Director and also the academy's contact person in Malaysia and Australia

    Mr. Ogbonna featured in the Nigerian Soccer League before moving to Malaysia to play professional soccer with Penang NTFA, Malaysia. Mr. Ogbonna has Coaching certificates from Football Federation of Australia (Futsal License), NSCCA (Premier Diploma and United States Soccer Fedration (License 'A'). Mr. Ogbonna is the Founder & Head Coach of Whitecaps Soccer Association, Malaysia. Mr. Ogbonna was the Fitness Trainer of Penang Football Association, Malaysia in 2010. Senior Coach of Metro Boys(Langley Soccer Association) - 2011. He is also a Senior Coach with the Plympton Bull Dogs Adelaide Amateur Soccer Association, Australia (2013)

  • QUEEN ASATA

    PositionHead of Public Relations Department and Team Mom.

    Queen Asata is an indigene of Akwa-Ibom State. She has a National Diploma in Mass Communication. She is a successful business woman that has great passion for the beautiful game of soccer. With her, the players are better cared for when they are away from home on soccer engagements.

  • USMAN ABDULLAHI

    AKA COACH ALHAJI

    Position

    Usman Abdullahi is an indigene of Kogi State. He is the Coach for the U-10 – U-17 team. Mr. Abdullahi started his playing career with Yusfon, Abuja (1994 – 1995). He played for Water Resources F.C. (1996 – 1997), Police Machine F.C. Abuja (2000) and Nasarawa United F.C.. He later travelled to Sudan to join Al-Hila F.C. of Sudan (2004) to play professional soccer. On his return from Sudan he, played for Dalala F.C. of Zamfara.
